To maintain performance for all of our customers, we cache certain things across the VisualSP application. The one that may affect the site administrator or editor the most is the help item cache time.
Our current cache time for help items is 5 minutes. This means when you create a new help item, or edit a help item, when you click Publish, it could be as long as 5 minutes before your users are able to see the updated help item. This shouldn't affect most people, but if you ever wonder why your users don't see a new help item right away, this is the reason.
