Scenario: You could be someone in HR, finance, legal, or IT and you have your own list of frequently asked questions. If only you could figure out a way to deliver these answers to your users quickly, when they need it. Well, VisualSP has a solution! Instead of a boring, list-based FAQ, you can catch user's attention with exciting designs like these:
This tutorial will show you how to create "Top 5 things to know" that can be configured to display either only on your department pages, or globally throughout your organization.
- Decide if you would like these to show globally on every page throughout your organization, or just within your departmental pages. If you would like them to show throughout your organization, build your help items in the All Applications application scope:

With either of these choices, the rest of the steps are the same.
- Create your 'Top 5 Things to Know' group. It is important to do this first so that you can assign your help item to the proper group. Reference our support article How Group headings work in the Help panel for instructions.
- Create your 5 help items and assign them to the group you created in Step 2. These could be the top 5 things that people search for within VisualSP. Didn't know you have access to that data? Check out our support article Viewing Analytics in VisualSP for information. Need some help coming up with ideas? Check out our Gallery of Help item templates for inspiration!
- Spread the word! Let everyone know that the VisualSP Help tab is the place to go for in-context support. Once your users are trained to click on the help tab first, you will have an effective and efficient way of providing help to your users.
