Display a Help item across all applications

VisualSP empowers users with on-demand assistance, ensuring that help is readily available where and when they need it within the Microsoft 365 environment. While the platform excels in providing context-sensitive support, there may be instances where a help item needs to be universally accessible across all applications. In such cases, leveraging the All Applications scope becomes a valuable solution.

Creating a Help Item with All Applications Scope:

Access Edit Mode:

  • Open the Help panel and click on the three ellipsis to reveal additional options.
  • Enable Edit Mode to initiate the process of creating or modifying a Help item.

Click Add Item:

In the Template Gallery, click the Application scope dropdown and select All Applications:

Select the Blank Item template:

 

Finish configuring your Help item and click Save. Your Help item will now display across all applications in Microsoft 365.
