For VisualSP Classic customers who are on SharePoint on-prem, there has been reported an issue with the inline help toggle that makes it appear to flash when the user clicks on the toggle. This is what it looks like:
This problem has been reported in isolated cases and appears to only affect a subset of organizations that are confined to using IE.
As a work-around, we recommend turning the inline-help element off / on at the provider or farm level as appropriate. For example, if an organization may keep it on when they first launch to provide an extra guiding hand in a new environment. However, if an organization is experiencing this problem, they might plan to turn inline help off after a limited time to simplify the user interface for users on an ongoing basis. In that scenario, ongoing help would be provided by the Help ribbon and autoload help items.
