Insert an animated GIF into a help item

Elevate your help items in VisualSP by harnessing the power of animated GIFs. In this concise guide, we'll walk you through simple steps to seamlessly insert animated GIFs into your VisualSP help items. With visuals that speak volumes, conveying concepts becomes clearer and more engaging. Let's explore these easy steps and enhance your support materials effectively.

1. Upload your animated GIF into the site assets library of your site
2. Double-click on the file to open it in another tab
3. Click View original in the ribbon

   

4. Copy the URL
5. Create your help item and select Image as the Media Type

   

6. Paste the URL into the URL or Path to Image window

   

7. Click Preview to confirm the animated GIF is working

Insert animated GIF into a Walkthrough

1. Do steps 1 - 4 above
2. Create your walkthrough
3. For the step you wish to add the animated GIF to, click on Insert, then Image:

   

4. Paste the URL into the Source field

   

5. Click Ok
6. Preview the walkthrough. If the bubble is too small, you can increase the width of the bubble in the Advanced Properties section of the Editor window
