“Leave site?” warning message

Applies to: VisualSP

When working in the VisualSP Editor, you may encounter a warning message in your browser that looks like this:

This warning is triggered when you attempt to navigate away from the page without saving changes made to a help item in the VisualSP Editor. The purpose of this warning is to prevent accidental loss of unsaved changes and to ensure that your help items are saved properly.

Solution

To avoid losing your changes and to prevent the warning message from appearing, follow these steps:

  • Save your help item: Before previewing or leaving the site, make sure to save the changes you've made to your help item. You can do this by clicking the "Save" button in the VisualSP Editor toolbar.
  • Navigate intentionally: If you need to leave the site or navigate to a different page, be aware that you may lose unsaved changes to your help item. Save your changes before navigating away to avoid losing your work.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your help items are saved correctly and avoid encountering the "Leave site?" warning message in the VisualSP Editor. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our support team for help.
