Unlock the versatility of VisualSP by seamlessly integrating it into iFrames. This support article is your quick guide to incorporating inline help and crafting walkthroughs that specifically target elements within iFrames, commonly found in applications like Power Apps and Business Central. Before diving in, let's highlight a couple of key considerations to ensure a smooth and effective integration.
- When in Power Apps or Business Central, you are not able to select any elements in the suite bar as part of a walkthrough or to place an inline icon.
- When embedding a Power Apps into a SharePoint page, you will notice 2 tabs:
Location #1 is the regular VisualSP help tab which gives in-context help to your users.
Location #2 is the help tab embedded within Power Apps. Because it is grayed-out, your end-users won't see the tab. However, as an Editor or Subscription Admin, you can still click on the tab to create help items that will appear within the embedded Power Apps web part.
Currently this feature is only available with Chrome and Edge browser extensions. Firefox will become available when they update their schema.
