Deprovisioning VisualSP

Applies to: VisualSP
Print Friendly, PDF & Email
Sorry to see you go, but we understand these things sometimes just don't work out. These instructions will help you remove VisualSP from whatever application(s) it has been installed on.

Custom Action

If VisualSP was installed onto SharePoint Online or SharePoint 2019, you can use our Installation Wizard. There will be a step near the end of the wizard where it will give you the option to uninstall the application. You can find full instructions here.

Web Part

The VisualSP web part would have been installed onto a SharePoint Online Modern page. First you will want to remove the web part from the page by putting the page into Edit mode and clicking the trashcan icon for the web part. Next, visit your Microsoft 365 SharePoint Admin Center and go to the App Catalog and then Apps for SharePoint.

Click on the ellipses next to the visualsp-webpart, then the ellipses in the dialogue, then click Delete. The web part has been removed.

On-Prem

Use the same file you used to install the application onto your farm. If you don't have it handy, you can find it here: On-prem Setup and Content Pack downloads (Note: This will require you to login to our system.) Once downloaded, follow these instructions.

Custom App Script Codes

Remove the script tab from the header of whatever application(s) it was installed on.

Dynamics App

  1. Navigate to the Power Apps home page
  2. Select "Solutions" from the menu to navigate to the Solutions page

  3. Select "Managed" tab from the Solutions menu

  4. Inside the Managed tab, select "VisualSP In-App Training For Dynamics 365" from the solutions list and then select the "Delete" option from the top menu list

  5. In the Are you sure you would like to delete this solution modal, select "Delete" to continue

  6. Wait for the Deleting process to complete. This can take up to 15 minutes to complete.
  7. Once the page refreshes, the "VisualSP In-App Training For Dynamics 365" solution will no longer show up in the list and it has been successfully deprovisioned.

Teams app

In the left navigation of the Microsoft Teams admin center, go to Teams apps > Manage apps. Click on the VisualSP app. On the next screen you will see an option to delete the app. You must be a global admin or Teams service admin to access the page. Having any difficulty? Reach out to us at support@visualsp.com and we'd be happy to help!
