Spotlighting a Help item allows you to draw attention to specific content without it automatically appearing on load.
With a simple selection you can configure your important item, in this example the Submit feedback about the help item you just viewed item, to appear at the top of the Help panel, like this:
This feature is useful when you want to highlight important information without overwhelming users. To spotlight an item, follow these steps:
- Access the Edit Window: Navigate to the item you want to spotlight and open it in the Edit window.
- Enable Spotlight: Inside the Edit window, you'll find a "Spotlight" toggle. Click on it to set it to "Yes."
- Save Changes: After enabling the Spotlight feature, save your changes. The item is now set to appear at the top of the Help panel.
Remember, while there are no strict limits on the number of items you can spotlight, it's best to adhere to the "less is more" principle. Limit the number of spotlighted items to one or two to avoid overwhelming your users.
