Communicate your policies and other information contextually

Applies to: VisualSP
When we're onboarding new users to any web-based application such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or even a custom web application, we have to ask ourselves if we are really setting up our end users for success. For example, in OneDrive, does an end user know what they can and can not do based upon company policies? If these policies aren't communicated properly, then that user is going to do whatever they want to. Even if they thought about looking for a policy, how would they even know where to look? A better way of doing all that is by using a contextual communication tool such as VisualSP to provide information when needed. For example, in OneDrive, you could give your users information on file naming recommendations. You could have a banner come up automatically to communicate something your company wants to inform your users about. Another option is to have something like a walkthrough popup the first time a user visits a site that provides a tutorial on the fundamentals of using the site. There are many scenarios that exist, in any web-based application, any Microsoft 365 application, Dynamics 365, or even a custom web application. Wherever you want to communicate any information, governance, policies, ways to do things, or ways not to do things, a tool such as VisualSP is ideal to provide contextual help to your users at their moment of need.
