Challenge
Many organizations face the challenge of effectively communicating governance policies or introducing new features to users when they first visit a particular location within their digital environment.
Solution
Show a dialog to users when they first visit a page. Give them a couple of options (buttons). Something like "Got It" and "Try It".
If they click "Got It", then it gets recorded in the analytics showing that the person 'signed off' on it and said they got it.
If they click "Try It", show them the feature/new functionality so they can see it for themselves.
Implementation Tips
Clear and Concise Messaging: Craft dialog content that is clear, concise, and easily understandable to ensure effective communication.
User-Centric Design: Design the dialog and options with the user in mind, prioritizing a seamless and intuitive experience.
Regular Updates: Leverage this feature not only for initial communication but also for subsequent updates, ensuring users stay informed about evolving policies or features.
By implementing these auto-display policies or features on page visits, organizations can bridge the communication gap, promote user engagement, and seamlessly introduce governance policies or innovative functionalities within their digital environments.
