Scenario: You create a survey or quiz that you want people to take. The challenge is getting people here to actually take it. One option is to capture a link to it and email it out to your users, but as we all know that doesn't always work very well.
Here is an alternative. You create a form or quiz and make it available to your users wherever they are as a pop-up. For example, if they are in their intranet or document library, then that quiz is right there in front of them. You can have it pop-up a few different times on whichever day you want to automatically. It's just embedding that information from the form directly a pop-up that is created using VisualSP.
Watch this video to see how it works, then afterward read how to configure your quiz to appear in a pop up window.
Embed a form into a VisualSP help item
- Create your form or quiz.
- Click the Share button, then the Embed button, then Copy
- Next go to the location you would like the quiz to appear and open up the VisualSP Help editor and create a new Help item with Custom EMBED or OBJECT Tag selected as the Media Type.
- Give the Help item a title, then paste the embed code into the Custom EMBED or OBJECT Tag field.
- Preview the Help item to confirm it is working properly.
- To configure the Help item to load automatically, select Load Behavior in the first column and configure the Auto Show on Load field and the start and end dates.
- Save the Help item and you're all set!
