Working with borders and highlights

Enhancing the visual clarity and emphasis within walkthroughs is crucial for guiding users effectively through processes or interfaces. VisualSP offers administrators the flexibility to add borders or highlights to walkthrough steps, providing a visual cue to users about specific elements they need to focus on. Whether it's drawing attention to critical fields or indicating areas of interaction, borders and highlights offer a powerful way to enhance the effectiveness of walkthroughs. In this support article, we explore how administrators can utilize borders and highlights within walkthroughs, empowering them to create more intuitive and impactful user guidance experiences.

You have the option of adding a border or a highlight to a walkthrough step:

Clicking one option or the other will add a border or a highlight to the target element selected under Core Properties.

This is a highlight:

You can change the element that is highlighted (or has a border) by going to the Events section and clicking Set background color (or Set border).

To change the element, click Re-select element and select the element to be highlighted.

To delete a background color or border, click the trash icon next to the event:
